Emergency Management/Business Resilience provides consulting with high-performance organizations to establish strong links between strategy and process, management structures and human systems, and current response readiness and corrective actions for improvements.


Consulting - Build Emergency Management into every business unit’s responsibilities, Emergency Response Planning, Training for employee’s secondary roles and exercise/drills to ensure enterprise-wide readiness.


Prepare – Emergency Response Plan, Process Improvement, Documentation of your process and procedures.


Build.  Develop and deliver training, as well as, design and develop exercise programs to support operational and management competence that reinforce plans while evaluating performance.   Develop scenarios and injects to ensure your organization is ready to perform roles during an incident.  Advice on establishing an in-house ICS training program (including; Assess, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). 


Respond – Provide incident management and communications support to officials, leaders and management teams during a natural disaster or emergency. 


Recover – Conduct after action analyses of response efforts. Identify gaps in processes, capabilities, and/or execution, and develop recommendations for improvement.

Training Development – Training development is structured to meet the needs of a diverse audience with an emphasis on how the various elements work together in emergencies to save lives and protect property. Develop courses and administer on-site and off-site training programs in areas such as natural hazards (earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, dam safety), technological hazards (hazardous materials, terrorism, radiological incidents, chemical stockpile emergency preparedness), professional development, leadership, instructional methodology, exercise design and evaluation.

  • Over 20 years project management experience, leading and implementing programs/projects to include Utilities: Transition and Distribution, Customer Service, Business Resilience, Emergency Management, Supply Chain/Operations, Generation, Information Technology, Human Resources; Banking; Hotel; Airlines; and Educational Institutes for enterprise-wide related projects.


  • Comprehensive experience in managing Organizational Change Management/ Training implementation projects in a large complex organization with learning/training groups of 19,000+, Program/Project Management groups of 400+, and Process Re-engineering for large (enterprise) technology transformation projects groups of 12,000+.


  • Led Organizational Change Management for ERP foundation, ERP Business Case, and Back Office preparations of Legacy Systems for ~19,000 users.


  • Led Organizational Change Management team during a Multi-Year ERP implementation.  Primary activities incorporated change management, including leadership development, organizational impact analysis, communications planning, and training design for Finance, Billing, Work Orders, Payroll, HR, Supply Chain / Ops Supt, Work Management, SRM, Customer Care (CCS/CRM), Work Management for Customer Service, Portal site (EDNA, myEdison.net), for ~20,000 users.


  • Led Change Management & Training team during an accelerated eight-month SAP R/3 implementation.  Primary activities incorporated change management and standard ERP implementation methodologies including leadership development, organizational impact analysis, communications planning, and training design and delivery for 400 users spread across 9 different locations.   


  • Managed initiatives for the advancement of Emergency Management Programs for utilities across the United States and Canada, including the establishment of strategies, governance models, and tracking progress of corrective actions in improvement plans. 


  • Lead programs with a unified approach to incident management; standard command and management structures; and process improvement, after-action analyses of response efforts and develop recommendations for improvement.


  • Comprehensive experience in Program/Project Management for enterprise transformation projects for corporate emergency plan, drills, exercises, and implementing a secondary roles process to support Operating Company’s incident response. 


  • Successfully managed, coached, and mentored 39 project managers in IT. Responsible for the IT Project Management Office Operations, Governance, Process Management, OCM program level oversight for major areas of changes. Managed and coached Project Managers for success by helping them acquire skills and knowledge through mentoring, training, supporting, enabling, encouraging, and developing the PM discipline. Developed, justified, and assisted in the administration of the department’s $2.6M budget.
